Not to be confused with Chris Mercier, Chris Ryan, a native of (the) Chicago (area), brings with him more than 10 years of media experience.

He has written everything from trade ads for a garbage truck line to a personality profile of a World War II vet who has sold french fries at county fairs for the past 60 years. Most recently, Chris edited national content for an Indianapolis-based homeowner-focused magazine.

Before moving to Indianapolis, Chris spent three years in Los Angeles performing stand-up, improv and sketch comedy. He also has played drums since he was just this tall and currently plays with Indianapolis rock band thesociety.

Named one of “30 Under 30 to Watch” by Indiana Alumni magazine, Chris is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington and a 2004 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism.
